Carmen Duran,in her own words……

“This body of work is a celebration of life, resilience, and the healing power of creativity in each of our lives. Inspired by the landscapes and florals of the Midwest, each painting reflects my connection to nature and my belief in art as a source of hope and emotional strength.

As a self-taught artist, my journey has been rooted in curiosity, growth, and the desire to express in my paintings when words fail me.

This exhibit holds special meaning, as 100% of my proceeds will support children’s cancer research - a cause that has forever shaped my life.

I created this collection in honor of my own child, whose strength and spirit continue to guide me. Through each brushstroke, I carry forward her memory and hope to bring light to others walking a similar path. This work is both a tribute and an offering—from my heart to yours”.
